Hello, I’m Emily!
It’s nice to meet you! I’m a mother, Nutritionist, chef, yogi and beach lover, living in Shellharbour, NSW. I am on a mission to help and inspire others to make their health a priority in their lives.
I have been a practicing degree qualified nutritionist since 2017, and witnessed hundreds of lives changed across the country from adapting healthier eating and lifestyle habits. I understand the power of food and nutrients in the ability to heal our bodies – we are what we eat after all, and what we eat has an impact on every single cell in the body, what we choose to eat can make the difference between feeling “ok” and “amazing”.
A healthy diet helps to maintain a healthy body weight, playing a fundamental role in the prevention and treatment of many common health conditions such as, diabetes, heart disease, cancers, lowering blood pressure and cholesterol, strengthening the immune system, and improve overall vitality and the ability to recover well after injury.
A little more about me:
Before I became a nutritionist, I spent over 20 years as a chef, a career that began from my love of cooking as a child, watching my mother and grandmothers create delicious meals. While I loved my time in the food industry, the long hours eventually took their toll. I was burnt out, highly stressed, and constantly exhausted. I wasn’t sleeping well, felt anxious, and had lost my spark. I often felt like a mobile phone running on 1% battery – all the time.
When I became pregnant with my first child, I knew something had to change. I no longer wanted to live life feeling rundown and depleted, so I turned to Nutritional Medicine. That’s when I truly discovered the profound connection between food, health, and wellbeing. I rebuilt my health from the inside out, and now I’m passionate about helping others do the same.
As a proud member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association, I bring together evidence-based nutrition strategies, compassionate coaching, and a personalised, down-to-earth approach. I hold a Bachelor of Health Science in Nutritional & Dietetic Medicine, I’m a Certified Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and a Certified Metabolic Balance Coach.
I specialise in:
- Women’s health, including hormonal balance and fertility support.
- Maternal wellbeing – from preconception care to postpartum recovery.
- Digestive health, helping clients heal their gut and feel lighter and more energised.
- Weight management, focusing on sustainable, long-term strategies for health and confidence.
Every treatment plan I create is tailored to your unique needs – because no two health journeys are the same. I take great care to listen to your story and craft a strategy that fits your lifestyle without adding overwhelm. I understand what it feels like to be busy, stressed, and time-poor, so I aim to make my recommendations simple, realistic, and achievable. I want you to feel vibrant, energised, and capable of living the life you envision.
A few fun facts about me
- My favourite foods are Mexican, avocado, mango, and of course, chocolate. (But I can’t stand Brussels sprouts!)
- I love a good coffee and enjoy a glass of red wine now and then—because life is all about balance!
- You’ll usually find me at the beach, soaking up the sunshine, or anywhere outdoors.
- My favourite animals are elephants – I think they’re the most beautiful, gentle creatures.
- One thing I absolutely can’t handle? Snakes.
